If you get this message when loading up a Spitfire instrument, please follow the steps below.
This error means that the plug-in your DAW is using is not the latest version required by one of the presets in your library folder folder and will normally only occur after downloading a new LABS product or updating a library.
If you are experiencing this after installing the new LABS update, please see the article here: I've installed the new LABS but the old LABS plugin is still opening in my DAW
1. Check the location that your DAW is accessing the plug-in from and note the plug-in format it is using (VST2, VST3, AU or AAX)
2. Open the Spitfire Audio App and click on the Settings tab, check the locations that the app is downloading your plug-in files to, if these don't match the locations that your DAW is using, change them so that they match.
3. After confirming these locations match, delete the current plug-in files and carry out a repair the product as described here. (for LABS repair any one of the LABS)
4. Once the repair is complete, restart your DAW and rescan the plug-in folder if necessary.
