The Legacy folder contains the original versions of the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra patches, and it is being provided "as is." Please be aware that this folder will not receive future updates and is unsupported.
How to Download and Install the Legacy Folder
Step 1: Download the Legacy Folder
You can download the Legacy folder using the link provided below.
Step 2: Locate the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra Folder
After downloading the Legacy folder, locate your Spitfire Symphony Orchestra (SSO) installation on your computer. This folder should already exist if you have SSO installed.
Step 3: Place the Legacy Folder

Navigate to the SSO Installation Folder: Open the main Spitfire Symphony Orchestra folder on your computer.

Locate the Instruments Folder: Inside the SSO folder, find and open the "Instruments" folder. This is where you will place the Legacy folder.

Move the Legacy Folder: Drag and drop the downloaded Legacy folder into the "Instruments" folder.
Step 4: Unzip the Legacy Folder

Double-click the Legacy Folder: Once the Legacy folder is inside the "Instruments" folder, double-click on the file to unzip it.

Unzip the Contents: The folder will automatically unzip, revealing the original version patches of the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra.
Step 5: Access the Legacy Patches in Kontakt

Open Kontakt: Launch Kontakt on your computer.

Locate the Legacy Patches: In Kontakt, navigate to the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra library. You should now see the Legacy patches available for use.

Load the Original Patches: You can now open and load the original version patches directly in Kontakt.
