If, since applying the recent update, you find you are getting strange warping of the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra Kontakt user interface, or the GUI has disappeared similar to the screenshot below:
it is possible that the UI cache files did not get updated by Kontakt when the UI NKR was updated, this can happen if Kontakt was open when the update was installed.
Please do not attempt a batch resave to resolve this, as you will save the bad cache files with the NKIs, and will then only be able to resolve with a new download of the latest update (in the Spitfire app, under the cog wheel choose Reset > Latest Update).
To resolve, making sure Kontakt is closed, open the Samples folder in your Spitfire Symphony Orchestra folder:
Inside locate the following .nkc files:
SFSSO_Brass_2024_01_15.nkc
SFSSO_Woods_2024_01_15.nkc
SFSSO_Strings_2024_01_15.nkc
SFSSO_Percussion_2024_01_15.nkc
SFSSO_Other_2024_01_16.nkc
Delete these files, then start Kontakt back up, and these files should be regenerated by Kontakt, and your UI should be back to normal.
Please do contact us at spitfireaudio.com/support if you continue to have issues with your UI after taking these steps.
