IS THERE A CROSSGRADE PATH TO SPITFIRE STUDIO WOODWINDS PROFESSIONAL?

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC WOODWINDS?
Recorded in Studio One at Air instead of Lyndhurst Hall, where we recorded the Symphonic range, this library offers a more controlled sound - instantly more focused and detailed - compared to the legendary lush and vibrant reverb of ‘The Hall’.
WHEN DOES THE INTRODUCTORY PROMOTIONAL PRICE END?
Spitfire Studio Woodwinds & Spitfire Studio Woodwinds Professional will be available at our promotional price until Friday 1st March at 23:59 GMT.
IF I UPGRADE TO STUDIO WOODWINDS PROFESSIONAL FROM SPITFIRE STUDIO WOODWINDS, DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE SAME SAMPLES TWICE?
Yes, they are separate libraries which appear separately in the Spitfire Audio App and are installed and registered separately with Native Instruments.
IS SPITFIRE STUDIO WOODWINDS AVAILABLE WITH AN EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNT?
Yes, following the promotional period this library will be available with an educational discount.
WHAT IS A DRY LIBRARY?
A ‘dry’ library is recorded in a room with little to no reverberance and without any natural hall response. A great benefit to using a dry library is that you will have much more control and flexibility in how you choose to process the samples.
WHAT ARE A3 PATCHES?
In notation, a3 markings signify that a part should be played with a specific number of players in unison. In Spitfire Studio Woodwinds, all a3 patches were recorded exactly like this — with 3 players at the same time. The result is a great deal more realism than artificially ‘stacking’ soloists, due to the way the room responds to each section.
I ALREADY OWN PRODUCT(S) FROM THE STUDIO ORCHESTRA COLLECTION, AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A DISCOUNT WHEN COMPLETING THE COLLECTION?
Yes! To complete a collection go ahead and add the collection itself to your cart. As long as you are logged in our cart will intelligently calculate your own discounted price. Any products from the collection that you already own will also be deducted.
WHY WAS MY CART REPLACED BY THE STUDIO ORCHESTRA COLLECTION?
This is because you own other products from the collection and our cart is automatically calculating the best deal. Don’t worry, you’ll still be purchasing the library added to your cart - just at a better price!
