In Kontakt, there are two forms of controller data.
- Host Automation: Automation that comes from your DAW.
- MIDI Automation: This is automation coming from your controller.
These two types of automation can conflict and cause strange behaviour when playing back and a control on the library may not retain its settings, and always snap or change its position when you hit play in the DAW.
Removing host automation will prevent this conflict.
In Kontakt, open the Automation Tab > Host Automation.
Select the control which is experiencing the conflict. Click Remove at the bottom of the list.
You should find that the problem is resolved. If not, contact us by clicking "help" or "chat" in the bottom right hand side of this page.
