Missing Patches in Phobos
If you get an error message about missing patches in Phobos this means that Phobos cannot locate the content that it needs to run.
The error looks like:
If you did not move the library to a different computer, or to a different location on your computer, you should "reauthorise" Phobos.
- Open the Spitfire Audio App and click the BT Phobos artwork.
- Choose "Repair" located next to the Installed icon, or alternatively the cog option.
If you have moved the library content into another location on the same computer,
- Open the Spitfire Audio App and click the BT Phobos artwork.
- Choose "Locate" located in the cog option. This is next to the Install / Installed icon.
If you have moved the content onto a different computer, you'll need to repair the library.
- Open the Spitfire Audio App and click the BT Phobos artwork.
- Choose "Repair" located next to the Installed icon, or alternatively the cog option.
If the above steps do not work, it could be that you're using Windows on a non-administrator account. If so, please continue with the following:
1. Locate the "spitfire.properties" file. This will likely be found at:
[System_Drive]:\Users\[Admin_User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Spitfire Audio\Settings
2. Move the "spitfire.properties" file into your User account, which will be located at:
[System_Drive]:\Users\[My_User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Spitfire Audio\Settings
Note: This file location is likely hidden by default. You can make these folders visible by ticking the appropriate box for hidden items in the 'view' tab of file explorer.
3. Once done, launch your DAW again and reopen the instrument.
Missing Samples in Phobos
If you get an error message about missing samples in Phobos this means that Phobos cannot locate the content that it needs to run.
The error looks like:
1) Confirm the size of your BT Phobos Library folder is 22.9 GB. If it is less, you will need to redownload BT Phobos.
Note: Windows users will have a slightly smaller file size.

2) If it is equal to 22.9 GB, you can locate the library.
- Open the Spitfire Audio App and click the BT Phobos artwork.
- Choose "Locate" located in the cog option. This is next to the Install / Installed icon.
