WHY ARE THERE NO VIOLAS OR BASSES?
Omitting the violas and basses limits the numbers of players to create more precision and clarity of sound, while still keeping the epic symphonic feel of a symphonic string section.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC MOTIONS AND KEPLER ORCHESTRA?
Kepler Orchestra also provides rhythmic solutions for composing, but where Symphonic Motions enables you to create realistic linear repeated phrases, Kepler features sections of different instruments orbiting each other sonically to create rhythmic textures, phrases and swells, influenced by Systems music. Kepler Orchestra was recorded inside Air Studio One, which is a dry stage, whereas Spitfire Symphonic Motion was captured in Lyndhurst Hall, a much more reverberant space. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC MOTIONS AND EVO GRID 3?
Spitfire Symphonic Motions and Evo Grid 3 both provide rhythmic solutions for composing, but there are some significant differences. Symphonic Motions is a dedicated plugin which loads directly in your DAW, whereas Evo Grid 3 is a Kontakt Full library. Symphonic Motions has a large ensemble which is “Symphonic” in scale, whereas Evo Grid 3 has a much smaller chamber sized ensemble. Symphonic Motions has some of the most commonly found rhythmic values such as 6th, 8th, 12th, and 16th notes played both discretely and smoothly across a number of techniques whereas Evo Grid 3 contains rhythmic evolutions, that evolve slowly over time, often quite dramatically. HOW DOES YOUR DEDICATED PLUGIN WORK?
Our dedicated plugin libraries work as standalone instruments in your DAW, meaning that no serial number is provided and the authorisation process happens during your download. We provide an AU, VST2, VST3 and an AAX, so as long as your chosen DAW supports one of those plugin formats, you’re good to go.
CAN I USE THIS LIBRARY ON MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER?
Yes, our license allows for up to two installations at a time for a single user.
