If you are using Orbis on a Silicon Mac and experiencing an unfixable Error 1 or other issues, please download the BETA below, and follow the instructions.
NB: you will need to run your DAW in Apple Silicon/Universal mode, not Rosetta mode, to use this beta plugin.

When you download the file, you need to unzip it and move it to the relevant plugin location on your system.
Component: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > Components
VST: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > VST
VST 3: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > VST3
AAX: Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plugins
Once you have replaced your file, download the tool from this page and double click the Spitfire icon after unzipping. A Terminal window will open saying the process has completed and the window can then be closed.
This is to bypass Apple security protocols that are not yet in place due to the plugin being a beta test build.
Reopen your DAW (please ensure you are no longer opening this using Rosetta) and the Orbis plugin should now load without error. Should you need to update, install, or repair a Orbis library, you will need to repeat the process above again to prevent the issue from reoccurring, as any of these will replace the plugin with the incompatible version.
If you continue to see Error 1 and use Cubase 12, please see this article
