BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro can be ordered on SSD, which you will be able to run the library directly from. The price for this service includes the drive and worldwide shipping.
You can't order the SSD without BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro, and we will not be able to include other libraries on the drive.
The SSD is a Samsung 860 EVO: a 1TB, 2.5 inch SATA III drive housed in our bespoke Spitfire Audio USB-C enclosure which connects to your computer via USB-3.0 (cable is included).
The drive will be formatted to MacOs Extended (Journaled) for Mac, or NTFS for Windows.

Can the drive be removed from the enclosure so I can put it inside my computer and connect via SATA cable?
Will I also have the option to download the entire library at some future date even if initially delivered via SSD?
Never mind. Found this elsewhere on the site:
Can I still download my libraries?
Yes, you will still be able to download your libraries from the Spitfire Audio App should you want to, both before and after the drive has been received.
What is the different between the BBC Symphony Orchestra $999 and BBC Symphony Orchestra in SSD $249? What are missed in $249 version?
Hi seed chan. $999 is the price of the library, $249 is the additional price if you'd like the library sent to you on an SSD drive.
There is also an option to have the library sent on a regular HDD at checkout, that service costs $99. Both services include the drive and shipping.
