VAT is the tax that is added onto a purchase for orders from certain countries.
This tax cannot be deducted for orders from the UK and does not apply to international orders from outside EU, with the exception of the following countries:
- Australia
- Japan
- Norway
- Russia
- South Korea
- Switzerland
We have to charge VAT in these countries for legal reasons, but please note that this does not affect the gross price of our products. The net price and VAT rate will be adjusted accordingly in order to generate the correct gross price for the libraries you are purchasing.

It is worth noting that UK customers can reclaim tax from HMRC if they are VAT registered. VAT registered customers from any other country that are being charged this tax should claim it back from the relevant government body that applies to them.
