Sacconi automation not working

Am trying to draw automation of vibrato with the mouse on a track with Sacconi recorded in Logic. I can't seem to get it to work. When I try to select an Automation Parameter on the relevant track in the main track window, under "Automation>Kontakt" instead of the usual list of selectable parameters it just shows a list starting #000 and going up to #511. As Vibrato is normally CC21 I have tried selecting #021 but nothing happens.

Have also tried the same in Ableton and can't do it there either.

Am I missing something? Is there a setting I need to change? In fact, it's not just Vibrato, I can't seem to automate anything in Sacconi.

We've created a support case for this issue, we believe you may be looking in host automation and not MIDI CC here!

I am fairly inexperienced with the intricacies of automation, especially in Logic, so I wouldn’t be surprised if am doing something wrong. Later this evening I will try it again with a single track in a new blank project and see what happens.
