    Hi Folks,

We're running a bit behind the expected schedule and apologise for any inconvenience.

Latest info I have on the update is as follows:

Pro - Everyone who owns Pro should receive the update to Pro and Core by Midnight GMT today.

Core - Everyone who owns Core should receive the update by Monday.

After Monday, please contact support if you do not have the update.

Problems with the update? Please view this video tutorial we have made first, which covers how to update, and how to fix common errors when updating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pob43j-OJQY

If after Monday, or after viewing the video linked above you still have issues, please use the Help widget on this page to contact support directly and we'll get you back on track!

Thanks for all of your patience in the meantime!

I'm in the very same situation. I t seems that the update is not yet available on my spitfire download tool.
    Anyone?

Perhaps they are staggering the availability to buffer server use?

From the e-mail and also twitter announcement, I understood that the update announcement was made 24 hours before it's availability.

On that basis, I believe it will be available around 3pm GMT 14th January, but I am just doing a simple calculation from the time I received the announcement e-mail and adding 24 hours.

For me that means midnight 14th, so I'm staying up late to grab it as soon as it is available and let it download while I'm sleeping.

Thanks - mine is available now, I raised the question hoping for a better estimate so I could do the same you're doing, queue up the download overnight if possible.

Thank you to Spitfire for continuing to expand this great library, I'm looking forward to digging in tonight!

Thanks for the update to this fabulous library. Will there be an update to the expression maps as well? (Did the new muted brass key switches change the old BBC Pro expression maps in any way as well?) Thanks and cheers!

They said that everyone who purchased Pro should have their update by now. But I've got Pro and NO UPDATE.

I don't have Pro, I have Core, yet still no update available.

So much for staying up late to grab the update before going to bed. I fell asleep in my chair in front of my computer and it's now 6am on the 15th local time, (9pm GMT 14th)...

Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I am really interested in the new samples to enhance a competition submission which I need to complete in the next couple of days.

I'm in Canada.  No email notice and no update available for BBCSO Pro.  There was an update for Abbey Road which installed no problem.

I did receive the update but the update mentions fast runs that I can't find.  I've checked Brass, Strings and Woods without finding any fast runs on any reasonable key switch.  Where should I be looking? I did get the Cimbasso and the plugin version number is correct which suggests that the download has been successful.

I'm with the same problem. I even tried to reinstall the spitfire app, but the update was not found. In my account shows the "purchase" of the update since jan 13.

    Hi Ole,

Thanks for getting in touch, I hope you're well!

The update to BBC SO is rolling out to all customers over the next 24-48 hours. If the update is not available by Friday, then do of course let us know and we will investigate further. In the meantime, you can check out what is new in the update, as well as a tutorial on how to update the library here: What Additional Content has been added to the BBC Symphony Orchestra Update (January 2021)?

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    All the best,
    Sarah

My instalation is all kinds of broken at the moment.

I bought Pro on the day the update was released, so I have a really bad mismatch of stuff on my system now.

Pro content is all V1.2.0, Core is 1.1.9, Plugin is 1.1.9 and Discover is 1.1.8.

What this means is that none of the new sounds play because I think the plugin just doesn't recognise them, I cannot adjust the mic positions for any of the Pro sounds that *do* have mic positions and it's all a bit of a diminished cluster flautando at the moment.

I spent almost 24 hours downloading the pro content and I can't really use it properly at all.

The very misleading Updates tab needs rewording because it just says:

'You do not have any products.'

What, at all? None installed? No updateable products? Did all my products get deleted? I mean really.

'You do not have any updates at this time' maybe, but... No products at all is not what I want to see.

Simply waiting and refreshing, refreshing and waiting for the update to show.

    Let's see how this goes.

If I can't get this working by tonight, it's support ticket time.

    Andre,

unfortunately I appear to be having the same problem. My Plug-in is still at version 1.1.9, Discover at 1.8 and Core at 1.1.9rc3. Even though the Spitfire Audio is showing that I have BBCSO Pro, inside Logic Pro I can only see the standard Core or Discover before any updates.
Brass, Percussion, Strings and Woodwinds are all showing version 1.2.0.

I have tried a "Reset" on the plug-in but it only reinstalls the 1.1.9, same can be said for Discover, it remains at 1.8.

I hope technical support can come back with a solution....

    Dudley
