Setting articulations in BBCSO Core for Cakewalk

Hope this makes sense - I'm new to articulation mapping (Cakewalk's term for expression mapping). There are many articulations with KS values below C0. How do I get a note that low? Doesn't seem to be a way on either of my keyboards. What am I missing?

  Which patch are you referring to and what kind of keyboard/controller are you using?

  All of the strings I believe (don't have it up right in front of me at the moment). If I recall correctly, Long Flautando in Violins 1 has a KS value of D#-1, for example. I have an ancient Roland G-800 (lowest key is E0) and a Nektar LX25, which will go to C0.

  If something has a KS value of say, C -1 try setting the map to play C 0. For instance, my BBCSO Core violins 1 has a default KS of C - 1 for legato, C# -1 for long, and so on. If I map those KS's an octave higher it works properly. Seems the location of middle C is up for debate :)

  Thanks Mark. I discovered this after some more experimentation. As you say, seems like middle C is a 'floating' value. Now I just have to go in and clean up the maps I've created...
