Not sure if this has been talked about on here before or not, OR if this is even the right section to post this: but I would really love it if Spitfire Audio had the option of monthly payment plans for their products. I watched their "The Probe" video the other day, and was disappointed to hear everyone was pretty unanimously against the idea of a Subscription Service; don't get me wrong, I HATE how everything is becoming subscription based now... but at the same time, you don't realize how incredibly helpful and important that is for people like me who have HUGE ambitions... but lack a wallet size to match. I've been using EastWest ComposerCloud, and it has been a real life-saver for me - - before that, I was stuck using some really awful samples and wasn't getting anywhere with them. ComposerCloud gave me a much-needed boost, and you can't beat that $20/month deal.
Musicians (like most artists) are often poor folk, unless or until they "make it." We need all the help we can get to find our footing.
So yeah, all that to say: if you're not interested in doing a subscription service, maybe you could consider doing payment plans? Or following in the footsteps of companies like Sweetwater who have their own Store Credit Card with promotional financing options, etc.
