I purchased the Steven Devine harpsichord yesterday and have three issues, two major, one minor. A major one is that the onset of the notes on any mic position (separately or in combination) sometimes exhibit either a dip or peak that sounds very odd and not in keeping with real harpsichords or other libraries I own. It is bad enough that I can associate the dips like some form or compression or limiting that suddenly steps on the transient. This occurs both in standalone Kontakt and in my DAW with zero effects enabled. It's not all the time and it seems more prominent in the tenor and bass notes.
The other major issue is that when turning round robin off in my DAW (Reaper), the onset of the notes are completely cut off. This doesn't happen in standalone Kontakt as it turns out so not sure what is going on here.
Second, by default the keyboard layout is an octave too high on my 88-key digital piano and the keyswitches are, I think, an octave too low and therefore don't even fit on the keyboard. I realize that I can use the transpose +12 in the GUI and drag the keyswitches using the little keyboard icon but I'm very curious why the default settings ship as they do.
The library sounds fantastic but this weird onset issue is making it difficult for me to even consider using it for major projects.
Thanks for any help!
