Completing a Collection
If you already own a product in a collection, the current price of the library will be deducted from the full price of the collection before the discount is applied.
(Full Price of Collection - Library you already own) - Collection or Sales Discount = Your Price
If you are logged into your account, your price will be shown on the collection page as well as in your cart.
You can find a more thorough explanation of how our collections work here.
If you are crossgrading to a higher level product (e.g. BBC SO Core to BBC SO Professional) your price will be the difference between the two versions at the time of crossgrading.
In a sales period, the price that is deducted is the current sale price of the library you own. The discount will be better though, as the sales discount price is applied after your specific price is calculated. In simple terms this is:
(Pro Library - Core Library) - Sales Discount = Your Price
If you are logged into your account, your price will be shown on the product page as well as in your cart.
If you are crossgrading from a now discontinued legacy product to a newer version, you will receive a predetermined offer which is often covered in the FAQs. Some of these deals are only temporary during a pre-order or introductory period. In the case of a sale, the crossgrade price is deducted from the full price of the library before the sales discount is applied.
Provided you are logged into the account you purchased the legacy product with, the price you see on the product page and in your cart is the price specific to your account.
