We are currently still in the process of making our plugins fully compatible with Apple M1 and Big Sur.
If you do not own an M1 Mac, or Big Sur, and have not yet tried our tutorial to fix Error 1, please try this first.
If you use Originals and have experienced an unfixable Error 1, please download the relevant BETA file for your library and DAW below, and follow the instructions. Please note, these will not work on their own.

When you download the file, you need to unzip it and move it to the relevant plugin location on your system.
Component: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > Components
VST: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > VST
VST 3: Mac HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > VST3
AAX: Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plugins
Once you have replaced your file, open the Terminal App, copy and paste the relevant line for your plugin type below and hit Enter.
NB: The file path names may differ depending on the language your device is using.
AU
xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/"Originals - Firewood Piano.component"
VST
xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/"Originals - Firewood Piano.vst"
VST 3
xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/"Originals - Firewood Piano.vst3"
AAX
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/"Originals - Firewood Piano.aaxplugin"
This is to bypass Apple security protocols that are not yet in place due to the plugin being a beta test build.
Reopen your DAW (please ensure you are no longer running this using Rosetta) and the Originals plugin should now load without error. Should you need to update, install, or repair an Originals library, you will need to repeat the process above again to prevent the issue from reoccurring.
