Product Comparison
Albion ONE
Albion ONE is our flagship orchestral sample library. It contains high dynamics and energy, whilst being highly flexible across multiple genres. Albion ONE is the perfect place to start your film scoring journey.
The library contains a 109-piece Orchestra recorded at the Lyndhurst Hall in AIR Studios. Featuring Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, and a large cinematic percussion section.
As well as the Albion ONE Orchestra, the library also contains a large number of Loops and Synths.
Albion NEO
Albion Neo: The Albion library curated for a new wave of progressive musicians and composers, with the demand for a more subtle, intimate, hybrid sounds.
At its core is a chamber-sized orchestra performing unique, experimental techniques, recorded in the widescreen resonance of The Hall at AIR Studios.
Similar to all Albion Libraries it features an encyclopaedic range of synths, loops and textures. NEO however offers you an intense focus and definition not found in other Albion's.
It is a perfect Accompaniment for Tundra.
Albion V: Tundra
Tundra is one of our most beautiful libraries and is not like any other Albion. It is designed to capture the orchestra on "the edge of silence" at its most intimate.
We've sampled a 100-piece orchestra for this library and it further includes bellows, percussion and a characterful warped synth section, likewise to our other Albion libraries.
What sets this library apart however is the delicacy. The Albion V string section is very delicate and can be considered nordic. To capture the icy strings, no violas were recorded for this library and the entire "Tundra" Orchestra played from quiet markings all the way down to silent oblivion, resulting in a deeply dynamic and timbral set of expressive instruments.
The percussion is also not "epic", it is deep, soft and rich which really compliments the orchestral section.
Albion III: Iceni
Albion III: Iceni is all about the aggressive, intense low end of the orchestra.
Winds: 2 contra bassoons, 2 contrabass clarinets, heckelphone, 2 bassoons, 2 bass clarinets, 1 bass saxophone
Brass: 2 tubas, 2 cimbassi, 2 contra bass bones, 3 bass bones
Strings: 0, 0, 0, 24, 8. This library contains no violins and no violas, but 24 celli and 8 basses.
Similar to Albion ONE and II, this library features a third edition of Darwin Percussion and Stephenson's Steam Band.
Albion IV: Uist
Uist is a unique library. Albion IV presents large ensembles playing over 800 unique and extraordinary atonal, aleatoric and "progressive" articulations.
The library is best used when using evolving textures or drones. This would be a great addition for those composers looking to add unease to their compositions or unearthly textures.
This library features no percussive elements unlike the rest of the Albion libraries.
