    Hi Roy, have you checked on the status of your application in the link above? If it says you haven't filled it in, it may be that you missed one of the questions in the survey when you filled it out.

    Likewise - I filled out the form a good few weeks ago, spent like half an hour making sure I filled it all with honest in-depth answers and submitted it.

    Then I made an account and forgot about it hoping the next thing I'd see is an email... - I came back today wondering why I've heard nothing and This Status Page claims I never even sent one. :(

    I think perhaps requesting before making an account has caused a problem, even though I used the exact same email address for both the request form and account creation - I've submitted a quick help form as I believe this might be quicker than me filling out the whole form again - if I have to do it again then so be it - but I'd like this confirmed first before I spam Spitfire with request forms...

    I was kinda excited but the motivation is slowly evaporating from me... I hope some administrator is able to help...

    I just gave a long series of thoughtful, in-depth, personal answers to the questionnaire, and expected I would receive what was promised. A 14-day free trial. VERY disappointed in this false advert. I had a lot of respect for Spitfire 25 minutes ago...

    I think you may have read it wrong my dude and caused you to conclude incorrectly? (or perhaps I have)...

    I thought it was: You could just 'get a free trial' instantly... But the 'fill out a form thing' is Actually for the Full Version of the 'Discover' package (their cheapest product) - Not a Trial!

    - But it does state that you will need to wait about 2 weeks after filling out the form - it doesn't come immediately. :)

    Or have you already been waiting 2 weeks? - Then you can complain :P

    Basically the same as you Adam. Carefully filled in the form answering all the questions ( as Ben mentions) nearly 4 weeks ago. Checked the status on the site and it said I hadn't  sent in the questionaire. Have just done it all again. Now received a confirmationm email and hopefully in 14 days will get to download....

    All requests are handled 'somewhere'... Surely our applications that contain our email addresses should still get verified whether we signed up to the site first or not... Right?
    With it all being a digital process, what we ask is not a difficult task, although... Perhaps this entire process is actually automated with no human actually verifying the requests?

    Although I'm not trying to push for anything when asking for a free product... Maybe I should fill out the form again...
    But not yet - I'm curious from a request processing perspective; if they are able to catch my request I already put in... Does it go to an Inbox or directly into some Database? - Gotta be someone that could find it easily and say "Oh okay, you served your time, here you go..." <hands over freebies> - if only...

    @Cooper. Thank you for your permission to complain. Everything from the initial email title throughout the funnel said "FREE"  ...Right up until I got to the form. I saw that it said a 14-day trial and I filled out the form (my personal data is not evaluated at "Free"). I would have been happy to pay for this IF I could have heard it first. Hopefully, you're not a representative of Spitfire because, wow.  No need to reply, this is not a question or a negotiation.

    Hi all, we certainly do not knowingly collect your survey without sending BBC Discover for free 2 weeks later. If you have filled in the form and not received your copy, my sincere apologies, there must have been a problem somewhere.

    Hey Adam - I think it was perhaps just a case of you misinterpreting the claim...
    The 'Free Trial' you could have downloaded immediately I believe...

    The 'Fill out the form' thing was for the Full Version of Discover (but for Free!)

    And of course I'm not a representitive - you'll see I had the same problem as a few other people so I left a comment in the help section and I finally got sorted!

    And you're right, it's not a Question. And the fact I'm not in any way affiliated with Spitfire is also not not a negotiation...

    I do hope they sort it for you - I'm just about to play on mine now and see how it feels! :)

    Hello there,

    I have the same issue as Ashley McLeod. It also says you guys received my application on the 4th of September and should have been delivered on the 18th, however I still haven't received anything. I'm just starting out with this whole composing adventure and LABS has been a great starting point. I was hoping the BBCSO Discover pack could help me further before taking the leap to possibly purchasing something. I hope I can still receive the BBBCSO Discover version.

    I have the exact same problem as Ashley & Toon - I filled out the form on the 4th September 2020 and was informed that I would receive the download link on 18th September.  Still waiting.
