I have fast internet, why is my download slow?

We have no influence on your actual download speeds, our libraries are hosted on Amazon S3 servers which are normally very quick but it may be that at certain times of the day when traffic is particularly busy, your ISP may throttle your connection speeds.

We would advise you to leave your download running overnight as speeds should ramp up at less busy times. Our App aims to use as much of the available bandwidth as possible to give you the quickest possible speeds, and may take several minutes to reach its peak.

    hi,
    i'm trying to download Bernard Herrmann Orchestra since 3 days and it is blocked at 33% and its downloaded at 0.1 Mbps. That's not correct for me. What is the problem with Amazon S3 servers ? I leave in France.

    well, thanks Ben. The debit as grown up and now it is at 3.1 Mbps and the % of download is 90. Very long indeed ! , but i am patient

    im download hans zimmer percussion professional and it still downloading after 3 days i have a very fast internet it dosent make since! it very very slow it not move im dying to use it already please help me!

    Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Library Manager, we are constantly making changes and updates, so it's always worth checking. I have created a ticket for you however so that one of our agents can contact you directly.

    Having a very similar problem except download is not happening at all. Trying to download Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions (1.0b13) purchased 4 days ago. Left the download manager on and had to reset it a few times ( closed on its own after a few hours or freezes on me) 


    Library manager v 3.0.6
    MAC OSX High Sierra

    Internet connection (wired) at approx 90 mbps download speed.

    The downloading is eating up my allowance. I have only 14 GB per month and I already spent 50% of my day allowance and am spending my night alowance. I want a refund!

    Hello,

    I purchased the entire library and it's taking over 40 hours to download. I am on a tight deadline with this project and also am about to get a new computer entirely, with having to rebuy Kontakt, as I've exceeded my downloads. Does that mean I will only have one download left after this? My new system is coming in two weeks and in the event that this is the case, the poor timing irks me. Please help, thanks.

    Hi Nomi, I see that you have the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra so that would take a long time to download. When you get your new system, you do not need to download everything again, simply copy the "library" folders over to the new computer and then install them into Kontakt as before.

    If you find that you do need to download everything again, you'll be able to do so once more by resetting the library in the Spitfire Audio App. Even after that, you can contact our support team and have the download reset again. I hope that helps. Ben

    My ISP at home has a nominal download speed of 44.1Mbps. My ISP at work is a completely different provider, but only has a download speed of 18Mbps. Downloading your products using your app was bizarrely much, much faster at work than at home (which was almost at 0Mbps).

    Obviously the problem lies with my ISP, but they have seemingly done nothing about it since I told them about their problem with your app. Is there anything you know of that I can suggest to them? I'd prefer to do my downloading at home.
