Spitfire LABS show as 'Demo Mode' in Kontakt

Our LABS instruments, along with many others require the FULL version of Kontakt to run outside of demo mode. 

We have a handy article on the difference between the two variants of Kontakt, this can be found HERE.

If you have the following showing in Native Access then you do not have a full version of Kontakt, this shows only Kontakt Player 5:

If you have the full version of Kontakt it will display as shown below:

    I have the latest full version of Kontakt (5.7.3), and am still getting this issue. The change from "Add Library" to "Manage Library" is causing consternation across the board. Kontakt closes the instrument and demands I activate the plugin. This is with regard to the Mini Harp (LABS) I bought on 7th Sept 2017. I'm trying to find a serial number for it, so I can appease Native Access - was there one???

    Hi Simon, LABS instruments cannot be added as a library to Kontakt, you must access them by using the "files" menu in Kontakt.

    Hey Ben. Just had a look to remind myself exactly what happened with the LABS plugins while I was working last night. After a short amount of time Kontakt shuts it down, with a black screen with Activate on it. That's why I was looking for a serial.. S

    Hi Simon

    This timeout is caused by using the free Kontakt player and not Kontakt Full (which is required for all LABS). If you see the words "Kontakt Player" in the top left of the plugin window instead of simply "Kontakt" then you are running the free version.

    Hi Sandy, but I DO have a full version of Kontakt (5.7.3), that's what's odd. Can I drag and drop an image to show you on here? I cant reply to the copies of these that I get via email..

    Hello, I am having the same problem. I have Kontakt 5.7.3 and the Labs time out in Demo mode. But I am able to use other instruments such as Orchestral Swarm that require the full version of Kontakt. Oddly, however, it says "Kontakt Player" in the top left of the Kontakt plugin, which suggests that this is the free version (which it isn't). Can you advise?

    Hi Jeff, if it says "Kontakt Player" in the top left then that is definitely the problem. If you have bought Kontakt, then you should have a serial number for it, just click on "add serial" in the top left of Native Access and enter it there.
