If Library manager times out whilst logging in, it is usually because the software is not being allowed to connect to the internet and can't reach our servers.
There are a number of reasons why this might happen including the following:
- Your router firmware may be out of date, this is a known issue with the Netgear N600
- Firewall settings on your computer or router may be blocking Library Manager
- If you have a managed network you may need to contact your ISP and check that they aren't blocking any outbound connections.
- Some antivirus softwares (such as Bitdefender) also block download managers and will need a special rule for Library Manager.
If updating your router firmware and disabling any firewalls/antivirus does not allow you to connect, please contact support.
